Through lovers who were also models, the book delves into how these—often turbulent—passions fueled his disturbing painting. This intimate approach, narrated in a dialogue format like his podcast, allows us to get closer to Bacon as a person, beyond the myth of the tormented creator.

Juanra Sanz and Bernardo Pajares

Bernardo Pajares is an English philologist with a Master's degree in Radio from the Complutense University of Madrid and a communications specialist. He is part of the social media team at the Museo del Prado, where he creates videos for Instagram and TikTok. He wrote and directed the HBO podcast series Patria and has collaborated on various programs for Spanish National Radio and other media outlets.
