Step into Velvet, a night inspired by the Victorian-era Drag King novel Tipping The Velvet, reimagining lesbian history through contemporary art, fashion, media, and performance.

This event is a very special, celebratory collaboration between Hackney Speaker Cllr Sheila Suso-Runge and Queertopia, featuring the following activists from the Hackney community, with different cultural perspectives, who address Hackney's LGBT+ journey incorporating equality and diversity, Black Pride, and hopes for the future

In this live radio and in-person event, Gushing with Gabby: on London’s Lesbian Renaissance, Gabby will interview Alex Loveless, co-founder of Lesbian bar La Camionera, An(dre)a Spisto, a neuroqueer clown, performance artist and co-producer of Brazilian Wax XXL, a sex-worker led queer Latinx dance party, and Shivani Dave, co-founder of the radically grassroots Dyke March.

Celebrate the 40th anniversary of Bloolips’ seventh show: Living Leg-ends, with radical drag legend Lavinia Co-Op. Unfinished Histories presents a live reading of sections from the original script and rare video footage while Lavinia shares her experiences of working on the original production.

'At the Rainbow’s End' is a verbatim play based on interviews with older LGBT people about their experiences of homophobia and transphobia while receiving ‘care’. Presented as a script-in-hand performance with Q&A.

No Drama! - A shady look at the history of Trans-representation on the big screen, from Hollywood to indie filmmakers. A fabulous panel of industry experts will discuss good and (often) bad portrayals and with the audience will create a Manifesto of demands for future filmmakers.

The Belt Of Venus is an immersive video installation designed to provide a space for Trans+ attendees and allies to come together. Bring Flowers if you can.

For Trans Day of Remembrance, Trans Sauna are running a special edition of this sauna event where trans+ people have the space to grieve with their community and remember those that have been lost.
