Join us for two exciting performances of toy theatre shows from Pollock's Toy Museum.
Wednesday 13th August and Thursday 14th August, Hackney Museum
‘If you love art, folly or the bright eyes of children, speed to Pollock’s’ - Robert Louis Stevenson
Benjamin Pollock produced and sold his famous toy theatres from his shop in Hoxton from 1877 until 1937. Made of card that could be painted by Victorian children as well as play scripts they could act out.
Now you can see these historic toys come to life through two 20-minute long plays performed by the Pollock’s Toy Museum, taking place at Hackney Museum.
