Discover Young Hackney is back for 2026!

Applications are now closed for the Discover Young Hackney 2026 grant scheme.

Discover Young Hackney supports 15-26 year olds to access free or low-cost cultural activities throughout the summer holidays. Funded activities have a specific emphasis on helping young people develop their creative skills, build confidence and gain experience, while exploring pathways into the creative and cultural industries.

    Arcola Academy 'Elevate'

    An opportunity for young Hackney creatives aged 18–25 to develop and explore theatre and performance as a professional pathway.

    Summer's Live

    A free five day intensive artist development course for 12 young contemporary musicians in Hackney.

    Summer School
