Hackney Writers’ Festival June 2026
Hackney Libraries are proud to announce the inaugural Hackney Writers’ Festival in June 2026.
Following on from the successes of our Writers’ Showcases in 2024 and 2025, and to celebrate the National Year of Reading, we have created a month-long festival for our writers to share their work and for everyone to find out more about our regular writing groups.
If you are a budding author, looking for inspiration or an opportunity to meet other writers, Hackney Libraries have the group for you. Find members of our writing community at every library in the borough and get involved!
