The Big Queer Book Fair

Our partners The Common Press will be taking over Homerton Library with The Big Queer Bookfair on Sunday 25 May from 12pm-6pm. 

The Common Press CIC is a not-for-profit queer intersectional bookshop,  providing a safer space for the LGBTQIA+ community to exist. They champion books by authors from a wide range of marginalised backgrounds.  

The Big Queer Book Fair is a community day for book lovers, writers and creatives. What you can expect: 

  • Stalls from your favourite radical, queer, feminist bookshops and publishers 

  • LDN Queer Mart stalls where queer artists will sell their work 

  • Storytime and activities for children 

  • A secondhand book sale organised by Queer Swap 

  • Paid workshops, panels and talks by Common Press, Queers for Books and Lucy Webster (£10)
