Explore Hackney and see it through a new lens

Join us for a free full-day mobile photography walk and zine-making workshop led by established visual artists.

On Saturday 2 August, walk alongside photographer Eleonora Agostini around Hackney Downs to sharpen your eye, discover new corners of your borough and develop your visual storytelling skills. No camera is needed: bring your smartphone. 

Reclaim the streets with purpose, collaborate with peers and create a collective zine guided by our art director.  Later on this year, your pictures could end up on the walls of a public exhibition celebrating a year of walks around Hackney.

Photographic Walk: 11:30 am – 2:00 pm
Lunch Break: 2:00 – 3:00 pm
Zinemaking Workshop: 3:00 – 5:00 pm
Meeting Point: Outside Hackney Downs Overground Station
Free & open to young people in Hackney aged 15-25
