Windrush Caribbean Film Festival (WCFF) returns for a sixth year in 2025.

This year WCFF presents the acclaimed documentary Getting It Back: The Story of Cymande, celebrating the legacy of the pioneering British funk band Cymande, screened at the Hackney Picture House

The screening will also feature a selection of short films, including Remembering BRAFA,  and  animations by artists supported through Film London’s FLAMIN Animations programme.

Presented in partnership with ALT A REVIEW,  Joy Coker (www.alt-africa.com), a bespoke online and print media platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of Black, Brown, and minority creatives.
