"When an Elder dies a Library burns down. We owe it to future generations not just to tell our stories but to write them down."

This Legacy Writing Workshop is led by 17 year old Hackney author, Romeo Bremmer, and features 11 year old author Jahmari Maxwell.

We are inviting families to bring your Elders to participate in a workshop teaching you exactly how to document the Legacy of your loved ones.

The young authors will be providing templates and materials to support with the writing of your Elders stories and giving you examples of their work as outlined in their Windrush book: Hey, Black Boy! Windrush Special.
