Interactive workshops exploring the overlooked experiences of women from the Windrush Generation through Caribbean and Black British literature.
Through guided readings, archival materials from Centerprise, visual media, and discussion, participants will engage with themes of migration, work, family, and identity in a welcoming and accessible space.
Led by Black literature facilitator Denise Rawls, the workshop centres women’s voices and celebrates Hackney’s rich Caribbean literary and cultural history.
