Join We Are Parable in collaboration with The Music is Black Festival from East Bank for a Masterclass in Black British Music Videos.
We’ll be showing some of the most iconic music videos of our time on the big screen, featuring two leading voices in the industry: Award winning director Mo Ali (who has worked with Skepta, Lethal Bizzle, Bashy and Chip) and Music Video rep Lee Fairweather (collaborator with Stormzy, Joy Crookes, Arlo Parks and PinkPantheress) who will be unpacking what goes into the creation of an iconic music video.
The conversation will be led by We Are Parable’s Aleah Scott followed by audience Q&A. Whether you’re an aspiring director, artist, producer, music fan or simply someone who loves the power of visual storytelling, this is an opportunity to hear directly from experts from the music industry on music videos that have helped shape Black British music culture.
This event includes a live in-person Q&A with Mo Ali and Lee Fairweather.
