Performances exploring asylum, media and democracy, where migration “crisis” is not a crisis of people but of the stories told about them.
Filmed testimonies of Syrian refugee women intertwine with music, movement, poetry and humour. Each performance includes debates, an exhibition of visual art and live music from local Hackney choirs and Syrian musicians.
