Hosted by Paula Varjack and Erin Guan The Hypeshop is an installation, open studio and programme of events exploring the strange, funny and surprisingly emotional world of hype objects and collectible culture. Come by and tell us your obsessions, bring us collectibles and help us answer Why are grown adults buying toys?
DAY 4: FRIDAY
10am - 1pm: drop in to see the installation, meet us and chat!
2pm - 6pm: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE HYPE IS OVER? An afternoon dedicated to the afterlife of stuff. Visitors are invited to bring an object they no longer want, or to be traded, gifted, resold, transformed and/or displayed in a window display of unwanted things.
