Join this heartwarming Caribbean film screening celebrating dementia-friendly stories and community vibes!

An in-person screening of award-winning documentary Dementia: The Island Journey, a special Caribbean dementia-friendly event made to celebrate and engage the Caribbean community! The day includes an insightful panel discussion about dementia awareness and support, some surprises (come early), and delicious Caribbean food to enjoy.

This documentary, directed by Rianna Patterson, founder of the Dominica Dementia Foundation, features voices from Barbados, Dominica, and Anguilla, showcasing our vibrant Caribbean culture. It’s a heartfelt story that brings warmth and understanding of dementia.

This event is for families, caregivers, or anyone curious to learn more about dementia in the Caribbean context.
