Join us for an opportunity to view inside the recently restored Chapel and to hear a talk about the life and times of JJ Fuller.
In addition at midday, Abney Park Trust are hosting a talk about the life and times of JJ Fuller. Born into an enslaved family in Jamaica in 1825, Joseph Fuller was a powerful orator and committed minister, who worked as a missionary in Cameroon for over 40 years before settling in Stoke Newington. He is buried here, in Abney, near the High Street entrance and while we know where his grave is, there is no marker.

Access information: There is ramp access at Church Street entrance, there is level access at the Stoke Newington High Street entrance. The ground floor of the Chapel is fully accessible and there are accessible toilets available onsite.
