Gushing with Gabby is a 6-part radio series hosted by Montez Press Radio which ends in 2023. The occasion of LGBTQIA+ Pride Month in February 2024 is a brilliant opportunity to have a very special iteration of the show as both a live radio and stand-alone event with a live audience at legendary queer venue The Glory.

Radio host Gabriela Cala-Lesina will interview photographer Bernice Mulenga, and DJ, cultural producer and founder of legendary queer club night Pxssy Palace Nadine Noor. Nadine will end the night with a very special DJ set.

In this episode, Gushing with Gabby: Queer on the Dancefloor, Gabby will explore Bernice’s key bodies of work such as their #friendsonfilm series and their immense contribution to the queer photographic black archive. They are the go-to photographer for London’s queer and POC nightlife. We will hear from Nadine about the importance of queer and POC spaces as founder of legendary club night Pxssy Palace, and what we can do to make nightlife in London more sustainable for the queer community. We will hear tracks that have inspired their practice and end on a very special live DJ set by Nadine.
