Join the talented Hackney primary children from Daubeney, Sebright, Lauriston and Colvestone schools as they herald and celebrate our Windrush Heroes with amazing song, colourful dance, music and spoken word.

The children will take you on a journey from the black presence in Britain from the Roman era, the docking of the ship in Tilbury in 1945, right up to the present day.

They highlight the Windrush scandal, the sound of lovers rock and the children of the Windrush, the next generation. All of this will be performed on the hallowed Hackney Empire stage.
