Hackney Libraries invites Urban MBA to host a three-hour workshop on the power of connection and collaboration.

Key Themes:

  • Black creativity and entrepreneurship

  • The power of partnership and collaboration

  • Overcoming obstacles as a black founder

  • Mental health in the black community

  • Using your skills to lift up others

Speakers:

Racheal Motojesi - Founder of catering business RM Cooks. Rachel has partnered with Yahoo to cater their Black History Month events.

Samantha "Sam" Francis - Founder of mental health nonprofit Find A Balance. Sam is a licensed counsellor working in partnership with the NHS.

Chris Okuru - Fashion designer originally from Congo now based in Hackney. Chris has worked with major fashion labels and run his own brand Okuru London
